We believe local traders should get first access to events in their own area. It's their community, their customers, and their patch. We always look locally first.

### How We Select Traders

-   1. We check for quality traders local to the event first — if you're nearby and you're good enough, you're in.
-   2. If the event needs more capacity or a cuisine type that isn't available locally, we bring in traders from our wider network.
-   3. Every trader is vetted to the same standard regardless of location — quality and professionalism are non-negotiable.

### Why It Matters

Some operators fill events with whoever's available, bussing in traders from across the country regardless of who's on the doorstep. We don't work that way.

Local traders know their audience, they're invested in the community, and they deserve to trade at the events happening around them. Our job is to make sure they get that opportunity — and that the event gets the best possible catering as a result.

Our network is curated, not open-access. Every trader must meet baseline standards. This protects you, us, and every event organiser we work with.

-   Minimum 4-star food hygiene rating (5-star preferred) 
-   Current public liability insurance (minimum £5m cover) 
-   Gas safety certification for LPG equipment 
-   Professional, well-maintained trading unit 
-   Reliable event attendance track record 
-   Commitment to quality food and professional service
